Hip Hop Congress
Hosts Mixtape Potluck
SAN MARCOS, Texas, Nov. 16, 2011—
The Hip Hop Congress is hosting a Mixtape Potluck, which is a great opportunity
to network with others and have others give suggestions.
There will
be artists, producers, designers and more to network with. The Mixtape Potluck
will be held in the LBJ Student Center USAC room 4-9.1 at 7pm on Nov. 16.
They will
be discussing the mix tape that is currently in the works and would like to hear suggestions for
the mix tape. The Hip Hop Congress is working on their third mix tape album and will be given out to students for free; there is no profit for the Hip Hop Congress. The most recent mix tape album was sent to New York City to be mixed.
"We hope to get some great material for our third mix tape," said Mia Jackson, executive vice president and vice president of programs and marketing for the Hip Hop Congress. "This will be a great way to capitalize on feedback from others on your material and perfect your craft."
