Hip Hop Congress Offers Various Opportunities to Youth

SAN MARCOS, Texas, Nov. 16, 2011 -- Hip Hop Congress is offering alternative education to Central Texas children ranging from second grade to high school.
There are three different programs that Hip Hop Congress is offering. Congress Kidz offers two of these programs. CREAM, standing for Character Rules Everything Around Me, which is aimed for students in grades 2-4 and WORD UP, standing for Warning signs. Observe other’s actions. Report to authority. Don’t get involved. Use good judgment. Practice makes perfect, which is aimed for grades 3-5.
"Hip Hop TRiO Student X-Change is a program offered to high school students in the Central Texas area," Hip Hop Congress advisor Ariana Vagas said.
These programs are aimed to educate and inspire students to be successful in their overall education from secondary school on to college. For more information in participating or volunteering please contact Silva at js202@txstate.edu
